About
Brothers Leading and Cultivating Knowledge also know as B.L.A.C.K. was founded in the Fall of 2010 by Dr.James Wilson Jr. and ten student members, representing the First Family. The purpose was to bring together the preeminent male student leaders on campus for fellowship, mentorship, service, and outreach. These members were to be among the top students in their respective colleges to assist the University in whatever needs that they had. Student Government Association President, Vice President, Mr.Prairie View, and other organization Presidents and officers were inducted into B.LA.C.K. within it's first year.

“A man of B.L.A.C.K. must always exhibit class and stand on integrity. We are
servant leaders who must remain loyal to our families and organization through
hard work and spiritual guidance. Here we encourage honest noble individuals
who are willing to exhibit respect towards himself and others around him, with a desire to evoke change.” - Brothers Leading and Cultivating Knowledge
